Our Accomplishments

We would like to thank our Volunteers and our Community for supporting and getting involved with the events that we hold annually. We are able to continue to do the work that is so needed. Engaging our youth, parents and our community in workshops and events that help them understand the problems that occur with the use and misuse of Alcohol, & Drugs & Tobacco is our primary purpose.

Narcan Trainings with LICAAD AND NPT/ENPT Libraries

May 12, 2022

This is a one hour training, that will qualify participants in the proper administration of Naloxone, the antidote for opioid overdose.
Naloxone is an opioid antagonist.  it attaches to prod receptors and reverses and blocks the effects of other opioids.  This will quickly restore normal breathing to a person if their breathing has slowed or stopped because of an opioid.  Everyone should take a class.

Medication Receptacle at Northport Police Station

Throughout the year, we work with the Northport/East Northport Library to hold Medication collection days. Drop off unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications. Pill form only, no liquids or hypodermic needles. No questions asked and no personal information is required.
