Join the Friends of the Northport/East Northport Community Drug and Alcohol Task Force for an evening of open dialogue and community engagement at Crab Meadow Beach.
We aim to tackle critical issues impacting our youth.
Discussion topics will include:f
– The effect of social media on children’s anxiety and ways to lessen its impact.
-The proliferation of vape shops and the consequent ease of Drug Access.
– The challenges and community effects of Marijuana Legalization.
We invite you to help build a resilient, supportive community that can openly confront these urgent issues. Our children are facing different challenges than previous generations, and it’s crucial to provide them with the necessary knowledge and tools.
